Population Control and the Philippines


In July last year, I blogged about a very dangerous coercive population bill being proposed in the Philippines. Rorate Caeli mentions an article he has published in the Catholic World Report on the subject. One point he makes which pro-family campaigners are all too aware of in light of China's harrowing experience, is that state-imposed population control policies are NEVER voluntary and NEVER implemented without coercion. Whatever promises dishonest governments make, it is in the nature of population control policies to be coercive and the primary victims are women and children
