The Catholic mother of conjoined twins has resisted pressure to have an abortion, stating that her children are a gift from God.
Lisa Chamberlain's unborn children share a body and have been given a
20% chance of survival, but Mrs Chamberlain has spoken publicly about her determination to give them the chance of life.
Her husband, Mike, 32, said to journalists:
"We just want everyone to give us a chance. We know it's going to be very tough and we're prepared for that as much as we can be. We've struggled so long for the chance to have children. Now that we've got that chance we're not going to throw it away."
